A youth-led movement to break the cycle of reoffending — restoring dignity and rebuilding futures, one young person at a time.

Our story

Founded on the belief that no one is beyond redemption

Reduce Recidivism is a youth-led initiative in Ghana committed to supporting the reformation and reintegration of juveniles in correctional centres. Founded by Tracy Frimpong, Esq. in January 2025, the initiative empowers young offenders through hands-on vocational training, life-skills development and mentorship that foster self-reliance and restore dignity.

In Ghana, juvenile offenders often face stigma, rejection and limited options after release. Without support, many reoffend — repeating a cycle of crime and incarceration. Through practical training and personal development, we make the reformation journey more empowering and transformative.

By focusing on long-term change and working with communities to reduce stigma, we aim to break the cycle of reoffending and create opportunities for lasting impact.

Our Mission

To reduce recidivism and crime rates among young people by providing vocational training, skill development, and mentorship that facilitate effective rehabilitation and smooth reintegration into society.

Our Vision

A Ghana with much lower crime and recidivism rates among young people — and a society where ex-convicts are empowered, economically independent, and can actively contribute to national development through self-employment.
